Meet Lewis Knopf

Lewis Knopf created LK Daily Money Management following a successful career in business and technology. He is a skilled manager, financial systems specialist, problem solver and negotiator. But most important, he believes, are his people skills: Lewis knows how to find common ground between conflicting viewpoints and how to help people manage change in their lives and environments.

Beginning with his positions at Citibank and J. Aron and Co., Lewis became a go-to expert when financial systems, goal-oriented planning, and innovative solutions were needed. For more than two decades he served as a top technology executive for Reuters, the international news and information service. As Executive Vice-President of Information Development and Operations, he was responsible for more than 600 people and a $120 million budget.

Lewis holds a B.Sc. from Lehigh University. He is a past President of the American Association of Daily Money Managers, and a Certified Senior Advisor.

He is active in the community and has served on the advisory boards of several startup companies. Lewis is a past Chairman of the Board of the Long Island Software and Technology Network (LISTnet) and Co-Chairman of Long Island Technology Network (LITN), both associations of business and technology leaders.

Additionally, Lewis co-chaired the Dean’s Council for the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Stony Brook University and is a member of the Tenant Review and Selection committee of the Long Island High Technology Incubator.

Lewis also is a past member of the board of directors of United Hebrew in New Rochelle.
